Surrey is a city in British Columbia, Canada. It is located north of Vancouver at the eastern end of the Fraser Valley and has a population of over 500,000 people. The city was founded in 1891 by Frank Milner and named after Surrey County on the east coast of England. The city is known for its many parks, public squares, and public artworks. 

Surrey is served by two SkyTrain lines: Expo Line with three stations; and Surrey Line with four stations. There are two bus routes that connect commuters to nearby communities such as New Westminster and Langley. There are also two major highways that run through Surrey: Highway 99 (the Trans-Canada Highway) which connects Vancouver with Kamloops; and Highway 1 which connects Vancouver with Whistler. 

Surrey’s most famous landmark is the Royal City Theatre which was built in 1921 and still hosts performances today. Other notable buildings include the Clarkson Public Library; Woodland Park Zoo; Art Gallery of Greater Victoria; Fort Langley National Historic Site; Surrey Museum; McNicoll Shores Park; Port Kells Heritage Site; All Saints Church; and Surrey is a city located in the Lower Mainland region of British Columbia. It is known for its diverse culture and friendly people, who have embraced multiculturalism as an intrinsic part of their lives. Surrey also offers residents an excellent quality of life with many recreational opportunities and a vibrant nightlife. 

Surrey has a population of approximately 250,000 people, with many other residents commuting to Vancouver for work. The average household income in Surrey is about $100,000 per year; however, there are more than 100 different ethnicities represented in Surrey's population. 

Surrey is located just 30 minutes from downtown Vancouver by car or train, making it an easy commute for anyone living here. The train station is located at King George Station on Fraser Highway near 152nd Street and Highway 1/99. There are two bus terminals in Surrey: one at 192nd Street and Fraser Highway (which has connections to Burnaby and New Westminster) and another at 176th Street and King George Boulevard (which has connections to Maple Ridge). 

Surrey is a city in British Columbia. It's the third largest city in British Columbia, and it's located on the north shore of the Fraser River just south of Vancouver. The city was started by gold miners in the late 1800s and eventually became a major industrial center for forestry, agriculture, and mining. 

Surrey is home to one of Canada's largest shopping malls, Surrey City Centre. The mall was built on land that had been donated for use as a park after a devastating fire destroyed several hundred homes in the area. Surrey City Centre is one of Canada's largest shopping malls and features hundreds of stores including a large food court with dozens of restaurants and cafes. 

The community has also become known for its high-tech industry with many start-ups being founded there by young entrepreneurs who want to stay close to home while building their companies from scratch.
